Research works

29 de January de 2025

This week, the 2nd year high school students presented their research work in front of the court.

Research work is a set of structured and research-oriented activities carried out by all high school students with the guidance and monitoring of a teacher, to consolidate search competence.

The student’s time commitment is approximately 70 hours and is usually done between the end of the first year and the beginning of the second year of high school. This work is very important for students because it represents 10% of the final high school grade.

The last week of January, the 2nd year high school students of our center made their presentations in court. We have had very diverse topics from the study of microbiotics, to fast fashion and consumer addiction or the difference between falling in love, desire and attraction.

What are the presentations of research papers like?

The oral presentation lasts about 20 minutes to present the key points of your search.

It is recommended that you prepare some type of visual support (for example, with Power Point or Canva) to structure the presentation and make it more enjoyable.

The presentation must include an introduction to present the work, tell the reasons for the research and attract the audience: an explanation of the search carried out and the results and conclusions obtained.
