On May 8, 9 and 10, the secondary school students went to camps at Camping Mas Sant Josep, located in Santa Cristina de Aro. As a pedagogical tool, the colonies are related to the work of synthesis, which this year was related to the sea.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd ESO students went to camps on May 8, 9 and 10 in Santa Cristina d’Aro where they were able to enjoy a lot of activities to prepare the synthesis work.
The objectives of the activities were:
1. Raise awareness about Sustainability in Fishing Activity
2. Promote environmental awareness
3. Understand the physical and climatic conditions of the Mediterranean coast
4. Get to know the Common Fauna of the Mediterranean Coast
5. Promote cooperation and teamwork.
In the case of 1st ESO, the synthesis work had as its theme: Exploring the Marine Ecosystem: Microorganisms, Coastal Life and Sustainable Navigation on the Costa Brava
In the case of 2nd ESO, the sustainable management of marine resources and the fishing industry.
And in the case of 3rd ESO, the taste of the Sea and Sustainability: Exploring the Relationship between Food, Climate Change and Marine Resources.
Once again the camps were a huge success, and although they obviously worked hard, they also had a lot of fun, especially the night at the disco!
