The Lleó XIII School has participated in the Christmas Market of the Villavecchia Foundation

11 de December de 2024

The students from 1st to 6th grade were in charge of preparing some stars that were used to decorate the Christmas trees at the Christmas Market.

The Villavecchia Foundation is a foundation that raises funds to benefit children and young people sick with cancer or other serious illnesses. This year they contacted us with a proposal that we loved: participating in the decoration of the Christmas Market that took place from November 27 to 30 at Casa Capell in Barcelona.

For a week, our primary students were working on stars, an activity that allowed us to work in the classroom on diversity and solidarity. These stars decorated the Market’s Christmas tree. The 6th grade students were in charge, representing all the primary students, of bringing these stars and decorating the tree last Tuesday, November 26.

For a few days now, we have had this tree at school. You can see it next Friday, December 13, on the occasion of the Celebration of Learning.
