During leisure time, at midday, and for a few weeks now, we have offered students from all the grades play corners as an alternative to free and spontaneous play.
Roca has created spaces with playful and specific material for each educational stage that adapt to the facilities and educational project of the school. The priority is that children enjoy leisure time and do so by developing their needs and social and coexistence skills.
In any case, the student is always left to choose whether he wants to participate or prefers to play freely. If you participate, you are made a participant in the process of setting up and collecting the space.
The corners, which are prepared daily, will be done continuously throughout the course. Roca organizes everything from ball games (basketball, handball, tennis, ping-pong, soccer), dynamic chest with material such as diabolos, nets…, quiet corners, symbolic play, that is, games imitating everyday life such as puppets, costumes , constructions, family, cooking, crafts, dolls…, constructions and trains with material that invites you to make constructions with wooden pieces, train and car circuits, board games such as puzzles, memory games, chess, checkers, cards, ludo, the goose or strategy games.
