AFA is the association of families in the school. Among other things, it is in charge of helping parents/tutors who may need so in topics related to education, and their children’s rights.
On Decembre the 19th, AFA organised the traditional Christmas Chocolate party at the Tower building. There, young and old where able to enjoy some hot chocolate with ladyfingers. A very sweet way to end the first trimester and start the Christmas break.

What are the AFA ……
- AFA helps all those families who may need so, in any aspect regarding the education and rights of their children.
- Is part of different educational activities in the school: graduations, Christmas Carols shows, end of the academic year parties, etc.
- They promote and develop projects to better involves families in the school life.
- They organise and promote educational talks for all the different periods of education the school offers.
Did you know? Before, AFA was known as AMPA. This is a great example of how in the last few years we have taking steps towards a more inclusive environment at school. As APA (Associació de Pares d’Alumnes) the mother figure was not considered. As AMPA (Associació de Mares i Pares d’Alumnes) the diversity found in families was not taken into account. Therefore, now a days we talk about AFA (Associació de Famílies d’Alumnes).
