He is a member of the Sarasota and Manatee County Chambers of Commerce. He has served on the Architectural Review Board and the Board of Directors of the Inlets of the Riverdale Homeowners Association. Over the years, he has participated in a number of charity events for groups such as the American Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society, and the National MS Society.
